Although the flexibility of the free market should not be construed as a weakness of the system, it does necessitate that we approach some questions in a less specific manner, by applying general principles. The following ten questions will be addressed.
- How would the problem of poverty be dealt with in a free society?
- How would population growth be dealt with in a free society?
- How would drug abuse be prevented or discouraged?
- How would the natural environment be protected?
- How would patents and copyrights be handled?
- How would children be protected?
- How would the rights of the mentally incompetent be protected?
- How would criminal justice be implemented?
- How would the government be financed?
- Is government really necessary in a free society at all (optional material)?
