The statist/altruistic/subjectivist values of the mixed economy can be summed up as a negative sense of life, inculcated in many youngsters from their earliest years (especially in government schools) and reinforced by their experiences in a coercion-based social system. Clearly, all of these values, listed in the left column of the table, are conducive to the rise of drug addiction, while the values of a free society are fundamentally incompatible with drug abuse.
