5.4:92, the global-warming theory has not been endorsed by the majority of reputable climatological scientists, although it is very popular among statist-oriented political scientists and government officials. online.) The motivation behind legislation to reduce carbon-dioxide emissions is therefore not scientific but political, reflecting the bias against capitalism, industry, and even the human species (portrayed as an enemy of nature in general) that pervades our culture.
